Road Lima-108

Carretera LM-108 is a mountain road located in central Peru, in the region Lima. There are some narrow sections impassable for two cars at the same time.

The road is gravel. It’s 53.2 km long. 4x4 vehicles recommended. Do not travel this road in severe weather conditions. Avalanches  and landslides can occur anytime.  This track can get very muddy and slippery after rain making it challenging to get through. During and after a storm the road may be impassable, even with a four-wheel-drive vehicle. LM-108 links the towns of Huaral, capital of the province Huaral, and Trapiche, in Carabayllo district. This trail passes through remote areas, so you need to be prepared. This route is not suitable for normal cars. If you dare to take the risk and travel along this dusty and bumpy route, then make sure to be driven by someone who has experience of the road.
