Abra Milloc is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4,826m (15,833ft) above sea level, located in the Andes of Peru.

Where is Abra Milloc?
The pass, also known as Punta Seis Lagos, is located on the boundary between the Junín and Lima regions, in the western part of the country.
Why is it known as Punta Seis Lagos?
The name Punta Seis Lagos means “Six Lakes Peak” in Spanish. The road leading to the pass winds through a landscape dotted with six colorful lakes, which is how it got its name.
Is the road through Abra Milloc unpaved?
The road through the pass is totally unpaved, but the surface is fairly good. It’s not particularly steep. It’s known as the LM 116 road, also called the Carretera Milloc-Marcapomacocha. The climb has gentle gradients and a solid surface, making it manageable in dry conditions.
How long is the road to Abra Milloc?
The road to the pass is about 60km (38 miles) long, running east-west from Casapalca to Huanza. Don’t forget to bring water, food, extra fuel, a warm jacket, a good GPS, and maps.
