Punta Fierro Cruz
Punta Fierro Cruz is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4.823m (15,823ft) above the sea level, located in the Yauli province, in Peru.
The road to the pass is gravel, narrow, full of hairpin turns, and pretty steep. It can be impassable after rains. On the south side of the pass there are a number of lakes.
Due to the high elevations and exposure, the road is subject to strong winds and rapid weather changes. Do not take this drive if you have respiratory problems or any type of heart condition. Altitude and extreme weather are always a factor at any time of year. It suffers the harsh meteorological conditions of the area every winter.
