Abra Progreso

Set high in the Andes mountain range, the road to the summit is totally unpaved but navigable by all passenger vehicles. It’s called 3S Road. Remember this is a mountainous area, climbing up a high mountain, with a notorius absence of oxygen.

The pass road is 33.7 km (20.94 miles) long, running west-east from Progreso to Kenco Ccasa. It’s a steep drive, hitting a 7.1% of maximum gradient through some of the ramps.
