A memorable road trip to Alto de Pasa
Alto de Pasa is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4.123m (13,526ft) above the sea level, located in Tungurahua province, in Ecuador.
Located in the central Andean valley of the country, the road to the summit is totally unpaved and steep, hitting an 11% through some of the ramps. Muddy after rains. The road ends at Embalse Chiquiurco, a high mountain reservoir. Starting from Tiliví, the road to the summit is 8.5 km (5.28 miles) long.
