A very bumpy, grueling road to Puna Jujeña
Puna Jujeña is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4.438m (14,560ft) above the sea level, located in Jujuy Province in Argentina in the Rinconada Department.
The road to the summit is totally unpaved. It’s called Ruta Nacional 40 (RN40). It's pretty much a lunar landscape in many places. Remember this is a mountainous area, climbing up a high mountain, with a notorius absence of oxygen.
The pass is 70km (43.49 miles) long running north-south from Orosmayo to Coranzuli.
