Where is Abra de Cortaderas?

The pass is located in Jujuy Province, in the northern part of the country. On clear days, you have a beautiful panoramic view of the ravine, with the town of Huacalera at its feet.

Is the road through Abra de Cortaderas unpaved?

The road through the pass is totally unpaved but in fairly good condition, easily accessible by most vehicles. It’s a well-maintained cornice road (gravel) and features narrow parts, steep sections, and countless hairpin turns.
