Road UT-211

UT-211 is a very scenic journey in the heart of the Needles region of Canyonlands National Park,in San Juan County, in the southeastern portion of the U.S. state of Utah. Driving in is beautiful with amazing views along the way.

The road is totally paved. It’s 65.66km (40.8 miles) long from its start at US 191 to the Big Spring Canyon Overlook  just inside the park’s boundaries. The road is a delight to drive. It has been designated the Indian Creek Corridor Scenic Byway. The road to the beautiful, remote Needles District of Canyonlands National Park offers a wonderful panorama. There are 15 parking spaces on either side of the road at the end of the drive. Speed limit is 50mph. The highest elevation of the road is 2.025m (6,643ft) above the sea level.

The beautiful drive offers an exhilarating driving experience, with superb views. It’s an unforgettable road trip. It has many viewing areas and great picture opportunities. There are lots of viewpoints, official and unofficial. The road goes close enough to see a lot from your car. Around every corner is something truly amazing to behold. The road is packed with beauty and splendor.
