The road, also known as Church’s Park Road, is located west of Boulder, in the northern part of Colorado, within the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests.

The road is totally unpaved, and comprises many steep sections, turns and narrow parts. A high clearance vehicle is required.

How long is County Road 50?

The road is 38.94km (24.2 miles) long, running west-east from Parshall to Fraser.

Is County Road 50 open year-round?

Running across the Williams Fork Mountains, a sub-range of the Front Range (Rocky Mountains), the road is not plowed in winters and usually closed from Nov 1 to early June.
