Forest Road 1950

Forest Road 1950 is a high mountain road located in Taos and Colfax counties, in New Mexico, USA.

It’s one of the highest roads of New Mexico, climbing up to 3.067m (10,062ft) above the sea level. The surface is gravel with some steep sections. Open to traffic throughout the year, may be closed in winter when the weather is bad. It suffers the harsh meteorological conditions of the area every winter. Along the way are some campgrounds.
