Gallinas Peak

Gallinas Peak is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.635m (8,645ft) above the sea level, located in Lincoln County, New Mexico, United States.

Located within the Cibola National Forest, the road to the summit is gravel, rocky and treacherous in parts. It’s called Forest Road 99. Weather conditions can change quickly and be harsh. 4wd vehicle required. Only travel on this road when it is dry. At the summit is a lookout tower constructed in 1933.
