Green Mountain
Green Mountain is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.204m (7,230ft) above the sea level, located in Idaho County, Idaho, in USA.
The road to the summit, located within the Nez Perce National Forest, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. It’s called Green Mountain Road. The road is usually impassable from October to June (weather permitting). Great trail for experienced wheelers. A high clearance vehicle is required. At the summit there’s a lookout tower built in 1956. It is frequently used on an emergency basis given the high fire frequency of the area.
