Fishhook Lake

Fishhook Lake is a high mountain lake at an elevation of 3.249m (10,659ft) above the sea level, located in Carbon County, in the U.S. state of Wyoming. It’s one of the highest mountain roads of Wyoming.

The road to the lake, located within the Medicine Bow National Forest, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. It’s called Forest Road 332. The road is usually impassable from September to June. Great trail for experienced wheelers. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. This is a maintained road where a high clearance 2WD vehicle is able to travel safely.
