Copper Mountain is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 3.758m (12,329ft) above sea level, located in Summit County, in the U.S. state of Colorado.

The peak is located west of Breckenridge, in the central part of Colorado, within the White River National Forest.

Is the road to Copper Mountain unpaved?

The road to the summit is totally unpaved. It is a chairlift access trail. 4x4 vehicle with high clearance required.

Is the road to Copper Mountain open year-round?

Set high in the Tenmile Range, the road is totally impassable in winters so you may only be able to safely run it in the middle of the summer.

How to drive to Union Mountain?

West of the summit, another chairlift access trail climbs up to Union Mountain, a high mountain peak at an elevation of 3.755m (12,319ft) above sea level.
