Forest Road 053
Forest Road 053 is a high mountain road located in Custer County in the center of the U.S. state of Idaho. It’s one of the highest mountain roads of Idaho.
The road is 1.2 miles long and climbs up to 2.766m (9,074ft) above the sea level. The road is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. The road is usually impassable in winters. Great trail for experienced wheelers. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. 4x4 required. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. Wet conditions may make for tough driving along the muddy road.
