Wofford Lookout
Wofford Lookout is a high mountain lookout tower at an elevation of 2.798m (9,179ft) above the sea level, located in Otero County, in the U.S. state of New Mexico.
The road to the lookout, located within the Lincoln National Forest, is gravel and rocky. It’s impassable in winters. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. 4x4 required. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. The tower was built in 1933.
