Sunrise Peak
Sunrise Peak is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 3.248m (10,656ft) above the sea level, located in Apache County, in northeastern Arizona in the United States. It's one of the highest mountain roads of Arizona.
The road to the summit, located within the Fort Apache Indian Reservation, is gravel and rocky. It’s a chairlift access trail of the Sunrise Park Resort, impassable in winters. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. 4x4 required. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep.
