Aspen Summer Road
Located in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, in USA, the Aspen Summer Road is a very scenic drive. It runs from the town of Aspen, all the way to the Sundeck Restaurant at the top of the lifts.
The surface of the road is gravel. It’s 4.6 miles long. It’s pretty steep, climbing up from 8,138 to 11,209 feet (3.416m) above the sea level. This track can get very muddy and slippery after rain making it challenging to get through. During and after a storm the road may be impassable, even with a four-wheel-drive vehicle.
