Yvonne Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 3.886m (12,750ft) above the sea level located in San Juan County, in Colorado, USA. It’s one of the highest mountain roads in Colorado.
The road to the summit is called County Road 2. It’s a gravel 4wd track. Do not travel this road in severe weather conditions. Avalanches, heavy snowfalls and landslides can occur anytime, being extremely dangerous due to frequent patches of ice. The road is a bit rocky and muddy in places. The road is totally impassable from November to May.
