Where is Stonehouse Road?

The road is located in Clark County, in the southeastern part of Nevada near the Arizona border. This area gets extremely hot in the summer, so you may want to think twice if you have a rig that tends to run hot.

Is Stonehouse Road unpaved?

The road is totally unpaved and pretty sandy in parts. There’s a stone house roughly at the midpoint of the road. The route mostly crosses smooth, rolling hills and gentle canyons. While four-wheel drive isn't usually necessary, a few sections strongly recommend it, along with high clearance to avoid scraping your vehicle.

How long is Stonehouse Road?

The road is 2.9 miles long, running north-south from Red Hill Road to the paved Davis Dam Road, near the Colorado river.
