A scenic paved road to Dinkey Creek
Dinkey Creek Road is a very scenic drive located in Fresno County, in the central portion of the U.S. state of California.
Located in the Sierra National Forest, the road is totally paved but narrow in parts. Be prepared for rapidly changing conditions. The road can be accessed year round but may be closed for short periods in winter when the weather is bad. This is bear country. Please store food properly and don’t feed the bears. Bring mosquito repellent.
The road is 21.72km (13.5 miles) long, running west-east from Shaver Lake to Dinkey Creek. Cell phone service is not available in this area. The road tops out at 1.993m (6,538ft) above the sea level.
