Beef Pasture Gap, one of the highest paved roads of Texas
Beef Pasture Gap is a mountain pass at an elevation of 1.878m (6,161ft) above the sea level, located in Jeff Davis County, Texas, in USA.
At this elevation is said to be the one of the highest paved roads in Texas. The pass is traversed by the paved Texas State Highway 118, or SH 118. The pass is 82.72km (51.4 miles) long, running from I-10 towards TX-17 near Fort Davis.
