The drive is totally paved. It is one of the only paved roads over the Wasatch Plateau. It’s 86 miles (138 km) long, running from Fairview to Huntington (southeast) and to Colton (northeast). The road comprises SR-31 from Huntington to Fairview, and SR 31/264/96 from Fairview to Colton.
