The Snake is said to have 489 curves (sweepers and hairpins) into 33 miles. Road quality is good, and you can expect decent tire grip through the challenging curves. The drive offers fabulous twists and hairpin turns that run between steep sided mountain and drop off to the valley below.

It is 53.10km (33 miles) long running from Bristol (in Sullivan County) to Mountain City (in Johnson County). It’s recommended that the driver or the rider stays in their lane and never straighten a corner out or ride on the lines.
