Starting at NF-105 (a gravel road suitable for passenger cars), the road to the lake is 19km (11.80 miles) long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 460 meters. It is a pretty steep road. At the end of the road, there’s a parking lot and a campground known as Black Lake Campground.
