Old Kern Canyon Road (County Road 214)

Located in the Southern Sierra Nevada, within the Sequoia National Forest, Old Kern Canyon Road (County Road 214) is totally paved but very narrow and curvy. The road is not easy, with countless turns and twists climbing the Kern Canyon along the southeast side of the river.

The road is 21.40km (13.3 miles) long, breaking off from Highway 178 (Kern Canyon Road) to Bodfish. It was bypassed by the dangerous Kern Canyon Road (CA Highway 178).
