Forest Road 162
Us Forest Service Road 162 is a very challenging high mountain road located in Garfield County, in south-central Utah, in USA. It’s one of the highest roads of Utah running entirely over 3.000m above the sea level.
Located within the Dixie and Fishlake National Forests, the road, also known as Spectacle Lake Road, is unpaved with some rocky challenges. It is usually open from June to October. 4WD vehicles only. It may be impassable after rains. The road runs east-west from Forest Rd 1277 towards Forest Road 154. It’s 21.88km (13.6 miles) long, topping out at 3.389m (11,118ft) above the sea level.
