Carretera Escenica (Acapulco)
This is a beautiful urban coastal road located in Acapulco, Mexico. This is a dangerous road due constant repairs, extremely high traffic and constant gun battles between police and criminals, the fact this is a resort city it’s classified today in 2016 as the most dangerous city in Mexico with 8 murders everyday.
This scenic drive offers great views of the so called "most beautiful bay in the world", Acapulco bay, including Puerto Marques bay and Diamante a luxury resort area. This is the only urban road that communicates Acapulco with Diamante, generating major traffic problems everyday, with frequent car crashes even with constant gun battles makes a great challenge to drive. Usually in high demand, it could take you up to an hour to traverse just 7 kilometers of this stretch of road.
