Is the road to Cerro de la Viga unpaved?

The road to the summit is totally unpaved. It's called Camino Antiguo a La Viga. A 4x4 vehicle is required. The road can be dangerous during winter due to common snowfalls and mudslides in the rainy seasons (over 1400m of road height).
