Is the road to İkizkaya Tepesi unpaved?

The road to the summit is totally unpaved. Due to the steepness of the road, you’ll need to tackle about 50 sharp hairpin turns on the way to the summit. The road is narrow.

How long is the road to İkizkaya Tepesi? 

Starting from Kabaca, the road to the summit is about 30 km long. A 4x4 vehicle is required. 

Is the road to İkizkaya Tepesi open year-round? 

Set high in the Karçal Dağları range, of the Eastern Pontic Mountains, the road is totally impassable in winters. The area is characterized by violent weather shifts and a barren alpine terrain at the highest elevations.
