Ala Dağlar is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 3.001m (9,845ft) above the sea level, located in Ağrı Province, Turkey, It’s one of the highest roads of Europe.
The road to the summit is gravel. Thunderstorm activity can quickly change unpaved roads to four-wheel-drive condition or make them impassable. Only 4x4 vehicles. It can often be treacherous with ice and snow accumulating, so exercise caution as you make your way. It’s one of the highest roads of the country.
