Mount Honaz is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.519m (8,264ft) above the sea level, located in Denizli Province in the Aegean Region of southwestern Turkey. It’s one of the highest paved roads of the country. 

The road to the summit is asphalted. Honaz Mountain is the highest mountain in the Aegean Region of Turkey. The road to the summit is very steep. Starting from the D585 road, near Cankurtaran, at 911 meters above the sea level, the ascent is 20.4 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 1.608 meters. The average gradient is 7.88%. The road is quite busy during the summer. The snow at the very peak of Mount Honaz starts to melt toward the end of summer.
