Dallıkavak Geçidi is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.349m (7,706ft) above the sea level located in eastern Turkey, in Erzurum province.
The road over the pass is asphalted. It’s called D925 and links the villages of Rizekent and Pazaryolu. It’s pretty steep. This road can be closed anytime when the access is not cleared of snow. If you've got your own vehicle, it's worth stopping for the views.
It is difficult to keep the pass open to traffic during the winters because of the harsh weather conditions due to high altitude. It suffers the harsh meteorological conditions of the area every winter.
