The road to the summit, located in the Swiss Pennine Alps, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. The road is usually impassable from October to June (weather permitting). The summit lies between the valleys of Hérens and Moiry. 4x4 vehicle recommended. Expect a trail pretty steep. Starting from Les Haudères, at 1.449m, the ascent is 10.2 km long. Over this distance the elevation gain is 1.042 meters. The average gradient is 10.21%.
