Col du Marchairuz
Col du Marchairuz is a mountain pass at an elevation of 1.447m (4,747ft) above the sea level, located in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.

The road to the summit, located within the Jura Mountains, is asphalted, pretty narrow and steep, with a maximum grade of 14 percent. The road over the pass links Le Brassus and Bière. At the summit expect a park-like landscape with colourful flower meadows and extensive woodland areas as well as splendid views of Lac Léman und and the Savoyan Alp.
Starting from Le Brassus, the ascent is 7 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 411 meters. The average percentage is 5.9 %. The maximum slope is 14 %. And starting from Bière, the ascent is 9,6km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 697 meters. The average percentage is 7 %. At the summit there’s a hotel and restaurant.
