Versamerstrasse

Versamerstrasse, a narrow funny road

Versamerstrasse is a mountain road located in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland, running from Bonaduz to Versam.

The road is totally paved but narrow in parts. It’s 8.3km (5.15 miles) long running through a few tunnels and along the Vorderrhein river, one of the two sources of the Rhine. At one point you'll drive on a narrow road past a rocky mountain wall, and nothing on the other side.

Risk of rock slides. The road runs from Bonaduz (in the Imboden Region) to Versam (in the district of Surselva). It tops out at 907m (2,975ft) above the sea level, near its end.
