Tannensee
Tannensee is a high mountain lake at an elevation of 1.976m (6,482ft) above the sea level, located in the canton of Obwalden, Switzerland.
The road to the lake is asphalted, pretty narrow and with steep sections, up to 15%. It can often be treacherous, with ice and snow accumulating even in the summer, so exercise caution as you make your way. It is subject to winter snowfalls with such a high summit altitude, and the road can be closed anytime when the access is not cleared of snow.
