Passo di San Giacomo
San Giacomo Pass is an international high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.313m (7,589ft) above the sea level, located in the Lepontine Alps, on the Swiss-Italian border.
On the Italian side, the road is extreme: full of hairpins, narrow, gravel, washed out and impassable from September to June. It's a 4x4 track. On the Swiss side, it’s just a walking path. The road links Bedretto on its northern side (valley of Leventina) to Formazza on its southern side.
