
The unpaved road to Heidelberger Hut in Switzerland
Heidelberger Hütte is a high mountain refuge at an elevation of 2.264m (7,427ft) above the sea level, located in the Swiss canton of Graubünden.
The road to the Heidelberger Hut is gravel. On 19th August, 1889 the hut was inaugurated after a two-year construction period by the Heidelberg division of the German Alpine Club (DAV).
