The road is totally unpaved and features narrow parts. A 4x4 vehicle is required. It runs over Trummelsberg, a small mountain with an exciting history.

How long is the Trummelsbergsvägen?

The road is 10 km (6.2 miles) long and runs west–east from the paved Road 250, near Bockhammar, to the Highway 66 nearby Bodarne, also known as Bodarna.

Can I drive the Trummelsbergsvägen in winters?

Located in the south-central part of the country, the road tops out at 146m (479ft) above sea level. It gets very little maintenance and is not kept open during winter. Even so, it is possible to drive even in wintertime with well-equipped off-road vehicles.
