Stjärnviksvägen, also called the Bockhammar road by the locals, is a 10 km (6,2 miles) long road between Skinnskatteberg and Stjärnvik in Västmanland County, Sweden.
It’s a narrow and curvy gravel road maintained also in winter. The journey offers superb views. This is definitely one road trip that you want to record with lots of photographs. A drive not to be missed. The road goes through a beautiful forest landscape with small marshlands. In this area live moose, deer, wolf, lynx and brown bear. Do not travel this road in severe weather conditions. It can often be treacherous with ice and snow accumulating, so exercise caution as you make your way.
