Coll de Moixeró
Coll de Moixeró is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 1.980m (6,496ft) above the sea level, located in the comarca of Cerdanya, Catalonia, in northern Spain near the French border.
Located within the Parc Natural del Cadí-Moixeró, in the Pre-Pyrenean mountain range, the road to the summit is unpaved and very steep. Starting from Riu de Cerdanya, a mountain town, the ascent is 14km long. It’s recommended from late spring to early fall, since you´ll go through mountain roads where there is often snow. Along the way you can enjoy a high mountain environment typical of the Pyrenees area. Only 4x4 vehicles with high clearance.
