Colláu del Muru
Colláu del Muru is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.638m (5,374ft) above the sea level, located on the South of the Principality of Asturias, in northern Spain.
Located within the Somiedo Natural Park, in the central area of the Cantabrian Mountains, the road to the summit is gravel, rocky and treacherous in parts. Weather conditions can change quickly and be harsh. Open to traffic throughout the year, may be closed for short periods in winter when the weather is bad. It suffers the harsh meteorological conditions of the area every winter. Road closures can be frequent. Strongly required making your way though with a high-clearance 4WD vehicle. Only travel on this road when it is dry. As always, check road conditions before departing. It is a land of great beauty, especially ideal for nature lovers. The scenery is stunning and you will be blown away by its beauty.
