Pico Patana

Pico Patana is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 1.526m (5,006ft) above the sea level, located in the autonomous community of Asturias, in northern Spain.

Located within the Sierra de la Cabra mountain range, the road to the summit, also known as La Prida o Escuríu, is gravel, rocky and grassy in parts. At the summit are some communication facilities.

The ride is rather remote, so you need to be prepared. Strongly required making your way though with a high-clearance 4WD vehicle. Open to traffic throughout the year. May be closed for short periods in winter when the weather is bad. Weather conditions can change quickly and be harsh.
