Road TE-V-2001

Carretera TE-V-2001 is a very exciting mountain road located at the southern end of Aragon, bordering the Valencian Community, in Spain.

Located in the Gúdar-Javalambre area, the road is asphalted (bad quality) and pretty narrow. It’s 16.1 km long and links the towns of Venta del Aire and La Monzona. Open to traffic throughout the year. May be closed for short periods in winter when the weather is bad.

Its highest elevation is 911 meters above the sea level. There’s a narrow bridge along the road over the rio Mijares. Due the narrowness of this bridge, the road is closed to 3 meters wide and 15 meters long vehicles. Its many twists, turns and narrows can pose a challenge to even the most experienced drivers. The road is not easy, though.
