Cerro de la Escusa is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 1.952m (6,404ft) above the sea level, located in the province of Ávila, Castile and León, Spain.

Located in the easternmost part of the Sierra de Gredos range, the road to the summit is gravel, rocky and treacherous in parts. Weather conditions can change quickly and be harsh. 4wd vehicle required. Only travel on this road when it is dry. Proper preparation is essential to having a safe, enjoyable trip on this road. As always, check road conditions before departing. The journey offers an exhilarating driving experience, with beautiful panoramic views of the Natural Reserve of Valle Iruelas and the Tietar Valley. Open to traffic throughout the year. May be closed for short periods in winter when the weather is bad.
