
Santet de Casau
Eth Santet is a high mountain chapel at an elevation of 2.021m (6,630ft) above the sea level, located in the Val d'Aran, a valley in the Pyrenees mountains in the northwestern part of the province of Lleida, in Catalonia, northern Spain.
The road to the summit is gravel, rocky and treacherous in parts. Weather conditions can change quickly and be harsh. Open to traffic throughout the year, may be closed for short periods in winter when the weather is bad. 4wd vehicle recommended. Only travel on this road when it is dry. The journey offers an exhilarating driving experience, with superb views over Vielha.
