Ibón de Truchas

Ibón de Truchas is a high mountain lake at an elevation of 2.146m (7,040ft) above the sea level, located in the province of Huesca, Aragon, Spain, near the French border.

The road to the summit, located in the Pyrenees mountains of northeast Spain, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. The road is usually impassable from October to June (weather permitting). Great trail for experienced wheelers. 4x4 vehicle required. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. The lake, located in the Valle de Astún, has a maximum depth of 4.7 metres (15 ft).
