Punta d’Icún

Punta d’Icún is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.069m (6,788ft) above the sea level, located in northeastern Spain close to the border with France, in the province of Huesca, Aragon.

The road to the summit, located in the midst of the Pyrenees, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. The road is usually impassable from October to June (weather permitting). 4x4 vehicle required. The wind is usually quite strong at mountain areas. High winds blow here all year long. The summit is also known as Punta d'as Canals.
