El Coscollet

El Coscollet is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 1.609m (5,278ft) above the sea level, located in the comarca of Alt Urgell, in the province of Lleida and autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. The summit offers stunning views.

The road to the summit, located in the Serra d'Aubenç i Roc de Cogul mountain range, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. 4x4 vehicle required. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. Starting from L-511 road, at 599m above the sea level, the ascent is 15 km long. Over this distance the elevation gain is 1.010 meters. The average gradient is 6.73%.
